Reims – Discover a city with an unparalleled history, starting with the cathedral. 29 Kings of France held their coronations in the church, including Louis XIV and Clovis.

Next head to a renown Champagne house such as Krug or Roederer. You will enjoy a tour of the cellars followed by a tasting of 2-3 Champagnes.

You will then enjoy lunch paired with several champagnes and wines from the region. This can either take place in a Michelin-starred restaurant or in a winemaker’s cellar.

After lunch, we will visit one or two more small producers to get a better feel for the vineyards and the specificity of each of the houses to better understand why each Champagne has its own personality.

Epernay is home to the headquarters of most of the largest Champagne houses. The main street is considered to be the most expensive avenue in the world, simply because of the cellars located below.

Visit one of the large houses such as Dom Perignon or Pol Roger. Followed by lunch and visit with a medium sized producer such as Guiraud or Duval Leroy. Finish off the day with a tour in the vines with a small winemaker before heading back to Paris.
